Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on the 30th of December 1986. Ellie Goulding's enthralling electronic style swiftly brought her to the top charts after she drew the attention of the general public in 2010. She was able to achieve this feat with her singles "Starry Eyed" as well as "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. The soprano's quirk and her capacity to create catchy and emotional songs put her on the frontline of modern mainstream music, along with the art and indie pop scene. She ultimately signed a major-label deal with Polydor Records and began making plans for her debut album.
