Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
She was initially inspired by shadows cast on grass. After a few weeks she devised a process that did not create the object she chose onto canvas in a flat image. The subject is a mirror that is its own with the canvas carrying an interpretation by painting of the object. This is especially true when it's a live item or something perishable, for example, fruit or humans. Alexa Meade's paintings are ephemeral and the image remains. Photographs and painting are together to produce an unflattering two-dimensional space that is a trompe l'oeil. Certain places the third dimensions can be seen, for example, around the eye or on the hair. Meade sometimes incorporates painted models in the space surrounding them. It allows them to interact with this world she has created. Thereby repealing the boundaries between photography, painting performance and installation.
