Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Based on the shadows she observed in the earth and shadows on the ground, the artist spent months experimenting with a method to express objects in two dimensions onto canvas. This way, the object is turned into an image of itself. This happens especially when using living items or those that will perish for example, like fruits or humans. Alexa Meade's work is ephemeral, but the photo remains. Photography and painting are tightly together to produce two-dimensional flat surface which is trompe l'oeil. At certain locations, the third dimensions can be observed, such as near the eye or the hair. Meade can sometimes incorporate her painting into the surrounding three-dimensional environment and allows the model to be a part of the world of their own. The result is a blurring of the lines between photography, painting, and installation.
