Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco - is a Canadian and American musician and singer. She has released many studio records. DiFranco has released more than 20 albums. Ani Difranco is believed to be a feminist legend as well as a Grammy award-winning. Being one of the early female musicians in the 1990s, DiFranco founded her own record label. DiFranco was born on the 23rd of September 1970 in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Dante Americo DiFranco. The parents of her mother and father were both from Montreal origin. Ani DiFranco composed and sang 32 Flavors. The song is from her 1995 album Not a Pretty Girl, that was her sixth studio album. A version of the song is featured on the film Canadian romantic movie Better Than Chocolate. In 2013 DiFranco apologized when it was discovered that she was hosting a three-day workshop at an old Louisiana plantation for slaves. The course was later cancelled but she didn't show any regret. DiFranco apologized again a few days afterwards. Little Folksinger is a singer who has performed with artists ranging from Pete Seeger, Chuck D and Prince. Her home is New Orleans. DiFranco started taking lessons in Buffalo State College at age 16 following her graduation from the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts. The new baritone she got was created by custom Alvarez guitar, designed by Chrys Johnston who at that time worked as the Alvarez Artist Representative.
