Dua Lipa is an English artist and singer. She was born on 22 August 1995 within London United Kingdom. The singer-songwriter signed with Warner Bros Records in 2014 after working as a model and launched her self-titled debut album in the year 2017. It peaked at number three at the U.K. Albums Chart and was followed by eight singles which included Be The One I.D.G.A.F and the U.K. top-ranked song New Rules which peaked at 6th in the United States. Lipa was awarded the Brit Awards as a British female solo artist as well as British debut act in 2018. The album was rated platinum in the world. Future Nostalgia Lipa released her new album in 2020. As a result of her maternal grandparents Dua Lipa, she is Bosnian. Her ancestors are also traced back to Peja, the Kosovo town of Peja. The two grandparents of Lipa were both historians.
